The Curse Motif of the Atonement by R. C. Sproul

This sermon from Together for the Gospel '08 is shockingly beautiful. Jesus Christ redeemed me from the curse by becoming a curse for us. What does that mean? Sproul knows he doesn't understand it well or much, but what he shares will help Christians love Jesus more. Thank you, Jesus!

By the way, my conference book title suggestion was Beautiful Sacrifice: Life in Light of the Cross. This is the only message I've listened to so far, but in my opinion at this point, my title is still pretty good.

The Ecumenism of the Abortion Clinic

Russell Moore writes, "We are accustomed to seeing Evangelicals and Roman Catholics praying together outside abortion clinics and working together for pro-life legislation. But we don't think about a less pleasant ecumenism: Catholics and Evangelicals waiting together in the lobby of an abortion facility."

"Christless Christianity" - The White Horse Inn

The folks at The White Horse Inn discuss the Christlessness of much of both liberal and conservative "Christianity." This is a somewhat academic discussion of some of the same things Paul Washer addressed in the two sermons I referred you to earlier. Is Christ absent from the teaching, preaching, and evangelism of your church?

The White Horse Inn is generally interesting and applicable.

Because you have to register with oneplace.com to access the MP3 file, I'm not adding this message to the podcast.

A Sermon to Youth by Paul Washer

This sermon from the 2002 Youth Evangelism Conference in Mongomery, Alabama is the most powerful sermon directed at youth that I have ever heard. American "Christian" youth need a wake up call, and this is exactly the sort of wake up call they need. I pray that God will fill me with this kind of passion for Him, His Word, and the people He is calling to Himself.

If you are not a young person, don't let that stop you from watching/listening to this sermon. All American church-goers need to hear this.

"I Am Under Obligation" by Paul Washer

All pastors, teachers, and missionaries should listen to this message. We must preach the gospel, undiluted and complete! Do not try to take shortcuts with evangelism. This message is convicting and powerful.
